Troubleshooting
Solve common FT-Browser problems
A useful report separates connection, link analysis, permissions, storage, and playback so the real cause is easier to identify.
A link will not analyze
Confirm the entire address was pasted and that the item is public. A message about a host name or configuration often indicates that the network was unavailable or a required service could not be reached.
- Open the link in a browser first
- Paste the full https:// address
- Try one item with Playlist turned off
- Reconnect, then retry once instead of tapping repeatedly
Download stops or restarts
Resume behavior depends on the source server and whether the temporary partial file remains intact. Do not delete partial files while testing a reconnection.
- Keep the same destination folder
- Restore the connection before pressing retry
- Avoid cleaners that remove temporary app files
- Large downloads need free space beyond the final file size
File cannot be found
On Android, private application storage is not a normal user folder. Use Save to Files or the system folder picker so the result appears in Files or Downloads.
- Read the completed path shown by FT-Browser
- Search by the displayed file name
- Check the folder chosen before download
- On desktop, check the configured output directory
Send a reproducible report
Include the platform, OS version, FT-Browser version if shown, exact error, and the actions immediately before it. Remove private activation details before posting public feedback.
- One affected public URL
- A screenshot of the complete error
- Expected result and actual result
- Whether the same step worked before
